Harar Longberry, an arabica coffee grown in the region of Harar in Ethiopia’s Eastern highlands, is perhaps the oldest bean still being produced. Grown at around 2, 000m above sea level these sun-dried beans come in a distinct pointed shape & golden colour, & are sorted & processed almost entirely by hand by skilled & knowledgeable workers. Harar beans can be divided in three categories, & it is the Longberry variety that is both the largest, & considered to be the finest. When roasted, the beans reveal wonderful flavours of fruity wine & mocha, & create superb, full-bodied drinks. Our Harar Longberry is a mild coffee that carries a medium acidity, making it perfect for cafetiere use & for all your favourite filter coffees.
