Directions Choose a well-lit area, so that you will easily be able to see any nits or lice that are removed using the nit comb. Hair can be dry or wet (use water or conditioner) when using the detector comb. Before use comb through the hair with an ordinary comb to get rid of any knots or tangles. Hair needs to be divided into sections. Gently insert the detection comb at the roots of a section of hair with the logo facing the head & the comb almost parallel with the scalp so that the rounded ends of its teeth will glide over the scalp without scratching. Comb gently outwards for the whole length of the hair. After each stroke wipe the comb with a tissue & examine anything that has been found.
