Frontline Spot On is water resistant, meaning that from 48 hours after application, your pet can swim or be bathed as usual. As Frontline Spot On has a non-systemic mode of action, it kills parasites through contact, not via your pet's bloodstream. It kills fleas & ticks by affecting their nervous system. This can cause disoriented, dying fleas to rise to the surface, so you may notice more fleas after applying the product
