Difflam Oral Spray Benzydamine, the active ingredient in Difflam Spray, acts locally to stop pain & inflammation. Difflam Spray can be sprayed directly into the mouth or throat to relieve pain, soreness & swelling. It can be used to treat many painful conditions of the mouth or throat, including mouth ulcers, teething, sore throat, sore tongue or gums & discomfort associated with dentures or dental work. Directions A puff of Difflam Spray should be sprayed onto the sore area according to the following instructions: Adults: Use 4 to 8 puffs every one & a half to 3 hours. Children aged 6
- 12 years: Use 4 puffs every one & a half to 3 hours. Children under 6 years of age (treatment is based on weight): 1 puff for each 4 kilograms of body weight, up to a maximum of 4 puffs at any one time.
