Philips AVENT 125 ml/4 oz bottles come with extra soft newborn teats as standard, while 260 ml/9 oz bottles come with extra soft slow flow teats. The options are: * Newborn flow: 1 hole, suitable for breastfed and/or premature babies * Slow flow: 2 holes, slightly faster flow than Newborn flow * Medium flow: 3 holes, for 3 months & older * Fast flow: 4 holes, for 6 months & older * Variable flow: with a slot instead of holes, for 3 months onwards If you find your baby becomes unhappy or tired when feeding, or if the feeding sessions regularly seem to take much longer than before, these may be signs that you need to move up to the next flow rate. Don't worry if you never change flow rates or if you change flow rates frequently. Some babies need different flow rates at different times of the day.
