The carbon sole is complemented by a BOA closure to give you a shoe that fits beautifully & maximises your power output to the full When you're pushing the pace, forging breakaways or sprinting for the line you want absolute precision & comfort, & this is where they come into their own. Using high-performance DUAL FCS Fitting Closure System with high-performance BOA IP-1 reels they're incredibly easy to adjust & dial in a customisable fit. A quick twist forward to tighten up for a sprint, & then a twist backwards to loosen off when the pace eases. Thanks to the smooth running cables, the pressure is evenly applied across the foot, enhancing comfort & eliminating any pressure-points & hot spots   The upper of the shoe is made with a soft laser vented microfibre & in combination with the anatomically shaped tongue provides a comfortable fit which easily conforms to your foot shape. Inside the shoes, the EPS Comfort insole features TSS technology (Tarsal Support System) to provide optimal support & positioning of the foot, giving a more natural pedalling motion   To the rear, an injection-moulded carbon heel cup is anatomically shaped & will not deform or weaken, keeping your foot perfectly stable as you pedal. Inside the non-slip, anti-tendonitis shaping offers incredible comfort no matter how far you ride   Gaerne EPS Lightweight Full Carbon Sole The  Gaerne EPS lightweight full carbon sole is an ultra light & ultra thin sole unit, with a stiffness of 12 out of 12 on Gaerne's proprietary stiffness scale. The carbon weave has been optimised to reduce weight without sacrificing power transfer & stability is assured thanks to careful sculpting of the shape in the plantar arch area. With four air vents, you'll enjoy comfort even in warmer weather & anti-slip toe & heel pads (heel is replaceable) you have a sure grip when off the bike. With an increase of 9mm in cleat adjustment & an alignment scale printed on the sole you'll always get cleat position correct
