On their debut EP, Tweak Bird seem to be saying that theyre not a band to be bound by any rules -- no problem there -- but apparently arent sure about what rules of their own they want to follow. The end result is somewhere between interesting & a bit off, as the duo veers between skronky elfin singing on the somewhat groaningly titled " Whorses" & the Jesus & Mary Chain-meets-power pop AOR of " Shivers" (not a Birthday Party/ Boys Next Door cover, but maybe not that removed from it either) ...
