The Sennelier Oil Stick is a composition of oil paint and neutral mineral wax, resulting in the stick appearance.  Sennelier colours feature quality, pure pigments which are ground into vegetable oils (siccatives), selected for their low degree of yellowing with time. The choice of high concentration pigments also allows for excellent light resistance. They are suitable for use on canvas, canvas boards, laminated panels & paper & can be used alone or in combination with oil paint tubes. Solid oil paint should be applied in a relatively thin film (no more than 1mm). Layers can be overlapped, in the same manner as oil paint, & can, if necessary, be thinned with turpentine. Before use, the surface film should be removed. This will re-form after a few days of non-use. Paint applied dries within 2 to 5 days depending on layer thickness & atmosphere conditions. They are sold in both 38ml & 96ml. Click on a colour to add the item to your basket. Once dry, the paint may be varnished like conventional oil paint, after a minimum drying period of 6 months, using an oil paint finishing varnish.  Clearance Clearance prices on selected 96ml tubes. These Sennelier Brush Pens have real synthetic fibre brush tips & thanks to the real fibres, the application of the colour is more fluid, constant & linear, taking advantage of the internal capillarity of the brush to facilitate the dispersion of the colour. In the same gesture, the artist can create extremely fine & very wide lines (up to 10mm) with a continuous flow of pigment based ink, by simply varying the pressure of the tip applied onto the paper. The pigment based formula is enviromentally friendly & exclusive to Sennelier.    These Sennelier Ink Brushes are equally suitable for Lettering enthusiasts, Bullet Journal fans & watercolorists.    The colours are blendable, water soluble & permanent when dry   Contents Iridescent Lemon Yellow Iridescent Orange Rose Iridescent Ultramarine Blue Iridescent Dark Green Iridescent Black Iridescent Silver   ...

The origin of Sennelier Oil Pastels, at the request of Pablo Picasso himself, is a good indication of the level of quality here. Gustave Sennelier created them in 1949 when the great man requested intense colours that he could use on as many surfaces as possible. As it turned out, Sennelier Oil Pastels also bring a lot more besides, not least a luxurious lipstick-creamy texture & extremely high pigmentation that provides excellent coverage & is fully lightfast. You can apply Sennelier Oil Pastels direct or blend them with your finger or cloth, & you can also dilute them with turpentine & blend them with a brush. These wooden box sets are an excellent investment for any level of interest in pastel work.
