Liquitex Clear Acrylic Gesso seals, primes & adds tooth while leaving the surface visible, & can be used not only for acrylic colours but also oils, oil pastels, graphite & charcoal. Usual choices include canvas, wood, paper & metal, but it’s also an excellent primer for mural work & just about any non-oily surface will take it. With just a single coat it dries to a clear & flexible matt finish, but you can apply further coats to reduce the visibility of your working surface, or mix with a dab of translucent acrylic colour to tint.   How to use Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products. Use undiluted or thin with up to 25% water
- when thinning more than 25%, use an equal mixture of water & Liquitex Matte Medium. Sand hard or shiny surfaces first, apply a thin coat to support with a wide, flat brush & leave to dry for at least 24 hours before starting to paint. To create a smoother base, sand the surface & reapply gesso. If using as a base for oils, apply 2-4 coats & sand between applications. Add acrylic color for a custom tint. Soft Body Acrylic is the optimum consistency. Two coats are recommended under oil colour.   Use with Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic & Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic colours. Liquitex Fabric Medium enhances blending, workability, & adhesion of acrylic colours for painting directly on fabric or unprimed canvas. Enhances blending & workability of acrylics on textiles & unprimed canvas Improves adhesion & color penetration Improves flexibility & reduces dry paint stiffness Controls color bleeding Lowers viscosity of heavier body paints, giving increased flow Gives a consistently even, smooth application Improves wet-on-wet blending Extends your color further without affecting acrylic stability Doesnt require heat setting Maintains paint adhesion, durability & archival quality Can be machine or h&-washed once dry   How to use Fully intermixable with all  Liquitex products For best results mix in a 1:1 ratio with Soft Body Acrylic, add more if using Heavy Body to get your desired consistency For watercolor effects use 5 parts medium to 1 part Soft Body Stir gently to avoid creating foam
- if bubbles appear, leave it to sit while the bubbles rise & disappear Paint on with brush, roller etc, using a thin layer to avoid cracking Can be added directly to textile when paint is still wet to blend color No need to iron to set Do not shake or vigorously over-brush as this can result in a foggy, hazy look when dry Do not use with any non-acrylic media The thicker you apply it, the less flexible it becomes Use with  Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic and  Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic colours.

Liquitex Flexible Modeling Paste is a matte, opaque preparation of marble dust & polymer emulsion.   100% acrylic polymer & marble dust putty builds flexible form & structure. It dries more slowly than other modelling pastes to a hard, yet flexible surface. Dries to a very hard yet flexible opaque white matte finish, on supports that may be subject to some movement. Can be used on its own, mixed with color or painted once dry. Dries more slowly than other modeling pastes. Gives minimal shrinkage. Can be overpainted with acrylics, oils, watercolors, graphite or dry pastels. Maintains paint adhesion, durability & archival quality. Recommended for use on supports with occasional flexing. How to use Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products. Apply with knife or tool. Tint with acrylic color to make a colored paste. Can be handled like clay
- for best results remove the lid to let some of the water slowly evaporate until you get the texture you want. For sculptural texture, build up in thin layers (each no more than a quarter of an inch thick), allowing each to dry. Dry slowly by covering loosely with plastic wrap to avoid shrinkage cracks. If cracks appear, allow to dry & fill in with another thin layer of paste. Overpaint once dry with acrylics or most other media. To use as a slightly flexible ground
- apply a thin layer to rigid surface with knife/trowel/roller, leave to dry, sand smooth & repeat if needed. To make an absorbent ground, mix 1 part Modeling Paste to 3 parts Liquitex Gesso, apply with a trowel/roller, leave to dry, sand smooth & repeat if needed. For paper-mache, soak paper in a 50/50 mix of Modeling Paste & Gloss/ Matte Gel/ Gloss Heavy Gel. Can be mixed with acrylic-compatible powdered pigments or aggregates -Do not use with any non-acrylic compatible media. Drying too quickly will cause cosmetic (not structural) cracks. Use with  Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic and  Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic colours.

Liquitex Flow Aid breaks water tension to improve flow, absorbency & blending of any water based paints, ink or dye to minimize brush strokes. Great for staining effects on raw canvas. Breaks water tension to improve flow & lower viscosity Gives a smooth finish with less brush strokes due to reduced surface friction Increases transparency & makes color more absorbent & blendable   How to use   First dilute your concentrated Flow Aid with water - 1 part Flow Aid to 20 parts water
- distilled water will give the best results. Use 1 part Flow Aid to 10 parts water if you want a more concentrated effect Add up to 25% of diluted Flow Aid to your color/medium & stir slowly to avoid foaming. If it does foam, leave it to sit while the foam disappears If applying to an absorbent surface, your color/medium will sink in like a stain or dye; if using on a non-absorbent surface your color/medium will be more fluid & take longer to dry Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products Do not use Flow Aid undiluted as it results in poor acrylic adhesion, cracking, tackiness & water sensitivity As this is an additive – with no acrylic binders
- do not add more than 25% to your color/medium & do not mix with other additives. This can cause excessive shrinkage, cracking & the acrylic film to break down Do not shake or stir too vigorously as foam will form Dont use for marbling as it breaks the surface tension of the water Do not use with any non-acrylic media

Liquitex Fluid Airbrush Medium is a pre-filtered, read-to-use medium that easily thins any acrylic, water colour, or gouache to the right consistency for spray application. An excellent choice for colour washes & water colour techniques when used with acrylic colours. Mixes well with other mediums to adjust the body & handling properties. Maintains integrity of acrylic even at high dilutions, & decreases airbrush clogging & paint build-up. How to use   Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products. Start by using in a 1:1 ratio with Soft Body Acrylic or Acrylic Ink, adjusting levels according to color chosen as each varies due to pigment size & and concentration. Airbrush nozzle size & spraying pressure will determine your ratio, so experiment to get the optimum mix. Stir gently until the mixture is fully blended
- if bubbles appear, leave it to sit while the bubbles rise & disappear. If using with Heavy Body, strain once mixed to remove any particles of undissolved color. Clean out immediately after use before acrylic has a chance to dry -Do not allow paint to dry in the airbrush
- always wash it through with warm soapy water, a water/ammonia mixture, airbrush cleaner or alcohol. Do not shake. Do not use with any non-acrylic media.   Use with Liquitex  Acrylic Ink, Liquitex Heavy Body and  Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic colours.
