Cass Art Gesso 1 Litre (1 Litre)

Cass Art Gesso Universal Primer can be used to prepare surfaces such as canvas, wood or board before painting in oil, acrylic or working in mixed media. Gesso is used to ensure artworks remain stable, permanent and long lasting. It can be used straight from the tub and applied using either a flat/priming brush or roller. Our Gesso offers great coverage, dries to a flexible film and with a slight tooth (or texture) promoting further sound adherence and longevity. It can also be sanded if desired to produce a smooth silky finish. The high content level of Titanium Dioxide within our primer makes for a high-white surface. This high-quality primer, at the affordable price it is, really does tick all the boxes. For best results two or three coats is advised when using Gesso. It
is recommended to leave 2 hours drying time before applying a second coat and 24 hours prior to painting upon.
