Crystallized citric acid is birefringent, meaning when polarized light passes through, the clear crystals turn into brilliant oranges & blues.

Citrus Ocean was created by Ingrid Parrington as part of her research. Ingrid holds a BS (field: Neuroscience) from Central Michigan University, & DO from Michigan State University.

The slimline case (1mm thick) features a one-component polycarbonate shell which is durable & lightweight, & protects from bumps & scratches on the back, left, & right side.
