Fujifilm X-T2 Promotional Video 24.3 megapixel X-TRANS CMOS III Sensor The X-T2 features the same 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor as the much acclaimed Fujifilm X-Pro 2. As with the X-Pro 2, the X-T2 has eliminated the need for an optical low-pass filter (OLPF). Without this filter the resolving power of FUJINON lenses is maximised to deliver images comparable to a larger, higher resolution sensor. 4K video recording in an X-Series Camera for the first time The X-T2 offers both 4K & full HD video. The high video bitrate recording of 100 Mbps for both 4K & full HD video allows for high-resolution footage with minimal compression artefacts. The X-T2 supports Clean HDMI output for 4K video recording, & also offers the "F-Log" log-gamma option. All the Film Simulation modes used for still images can also be used for video recording. enhanced frame rate The Fujifilm X-T2 features 14.0 frames per second (when using the Electronic Shutter), 8.0 fps (by selecting the Mechanical Shutter) & 11.0 fps (when using the Mechanical Shutter & when fitted with the brand new VPB-XT2 vertical grip). enhanced AF Performance Fujifilm has enhanced every aspect of autofocus performance. The autofocus system now has 91 focus points (up from 49), with 40% of the imaging area now covered by Phase Detection AF pixels. The data read speed has doubled to improve the speed & precision of autofocus. The X-T2 can focus in barely-lit scenes, as low as -3EV. Fujifilm has also enhanced the performance of contrast detection AF, enabled for around 85% of the imaging area, & the algorithm tracking moving subjects in AF-C mode. Vertical Grip VPB-XT2 The Vertical Power Booster Grip (VPB-XT2) fits two batteries, so along with the battery already in the camera you can shoot all day with no worries, up to Approx. 1, 000 frames when shooting in normal mode. In Boost mode, multiple batteries can operate at the same time to give a boost to the camera's continuous shooting speed, shooting interval, shutter release time lag & blackout time. The grip also extends lets you shoot 30 extra minutes of 4K video. Viewfinder to help you see more The X-T2's 2.36 million dot high-resolution organic EL electronic viewfinder has the magnification ratio of 0.77x & maintains a display time lag of just 0.005 seconds. The EVF refreshes at a rate of 60fps, or as high as 100fps in the Boost mode to deliver smooth display of movements. The X-T2's blackout time is less than half of that of the Fujifilm X-T1 due to the parallel processing of Live View display & fast shutter charging. This gives continuous shooting of 5fps in Live View. Fast response time The X-T2 boasts a start-up time of 0.3 seconds, shooting interval of 0.17 seconds & a shutter release time lag of 0.045 seconds. Robust, weather resistant body The camera's chassis is made from magnesium alloy & is sealed in a total of 63 points, making it resistant to dust & moisture in operating in temperatures as low as -10ºC. Articulated Screen The rear LCD screen is the X Series' first three-direction tilting display, which tilts up & down when shooting in landscape, & upward when shooting in portrait. Dual SD Slot The Fujifilm X-T2 comes with dual SD card slots, both supporting UHS-2 for faster write speed. The two slots can be set up for " Sequential, Backup, RAW/JPG" for recording RAW data in Slot 1 & JPEG data in Slot 2, as well as “ Video Destination”. Fujifilm X-T1 VS Fujifilm X-T2 Specs
