Shogun records to 2.5" Hard Disk Drive (HDD), Solid State Drive (SSD) media via a removable Atomos Master Caddy, with a new dual-drive RAID-0 Master Caddy also available to support 4K & high-frame-rate HD recording to low-cost HDD media, giving users over 2hrs of continuous 4K recording. Audio is handled via 8-channels of digital I/O with a further two-channels analogue provided through a breakout Lemo cable offering full balanced XLR, line/mic & phantom power. A dedicated headphone output is also featured. Featuring a single battery slot & a DC power input Shogun offers flexible powering options as standard, along with the industry's lowest power consumption. Shogun will ship with Atomos' forth-coming power module, that will feature two battery slots & two DC outputs & incorporates Atomos' patented Continuous Power technology. Featuring two Sony N, L-series compatible plates the power module provides continuous & uninterrupted operation to the Shogun through the DC connection, but can also provide the same continuous power to another DC device, such as the camera.
