The Canon EOS 60 Da Digital SLR camera is specifically designed for astrophotography & is based on the highly specified Canon 60D & 20 Da cameras. The Canon 60 Da features a modified low-pass filter with increased hydrogen-alpha sensitivity that is Approx. three times higher than that of a normal DSLR camera. The IR filter sits in front of the 18 megapixel CMOS sensor & makes it possible for astronomers & hobbyists to capture light wavelengths emitted by deep space gasses that are normally blocked by the filters in standard DSLRs, an essential modification to allow users to capture images of nebulae (gas clouds) in space. The Canon 60 Da is equipped with a versatile 3.0” vari-angle LCD, a powerful DIGIC 4 imaging processor & an extendable ISO range of up to 12, 800, the same features found in the Canon 60D. The Canon EOS 60 Da Digital SLR is designed to provide a combination of high resolution, low noise & creative flexibility when shooting stars & deep space gases. With the optional TC-80N3 cable remote control you can create stunning time-lapse sequences.
