Hoya’s range of PRO-ND Neutral Density filters utilises their new metallic ACCU-ND technology to yield a truly neutral colour balance. The Hoya PRO-ND range is aimed at the still photography & HDSLR video markets & provides a range of 9 filters from two-stop to ten-stop light reduction. Hoya’s meticulous use of optical glass & ACCU-ND coating on both surfaces ensures no colour shift as you move from one density to the next
- a common problem with other brands of neutral density filters. ND filters reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens & allow wider apertures & slower shutter speeds for creative & dramatic effect, even in bright lighting conditions.

These professional quality filters are made in Japan using precision optical glass that is carefully smelted & blended to yield perfect optical results. Hoya has applied the same care & precision to the multi-coating process, using an enhanced Super Multi-Coating (IS-HMC) formula to greatly reduce or eliminate reflections off the surface of the glass. These coating are overlaid with a clear water & stain resistant coating that is easy to clean. This makes for easier care & handling of the filter in the field. All coating layers are applied in a furnace to bond the coating to the glass. All Hoya REVO filters have very low-profile aluminium filter frames to house the glass & keep it perfectly parallel to the plane of the CCD or COS sensor while providing enough rigidity to hold up to years of use. The low-profile frame also makes the filters compatible with a wide array of super & ultra wide-angle lenses. Hoya REVO series filters are available in sizes from 37mm to 82mm.   ...

Light rays which are reflected by any surface can become polarised so polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CIRCULAR PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated & appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast & saturation in blue skies & white clouds. HOYA's polarising filters do not affect the overall color balance of a shot. Using the CIRCULAR PL filter, reflections & glare can be reduced significantly from non-metallic surfaces. A camera angle of 30 degrees from the reflecting surface (glass, water, etc.) is ideal for maximum effect. ...
