Afternoon tea in a lovely peaceful setting

A most enjoyable occasion. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and received wonderful service throughout the afternoon. A wonderful experience. The sandwiches and cakes were brilliant - and everything rounded off with fantastic scones with jam and cream. Everything rounded off with a gentle stroll around the tranquil gardens.

Lovely surroundings and varied tea with cheese scone and sweet scone with jam and cream served warm when we were ready. Would definitely go again. Great value.

There was nothing wrong with our experience but I'm glad it was a gift because 25 pounds each is not good value for money. I think we would have stayed longer for another pot of tea but my wife was slightly unwell. Service was very good. I wish we could have eaten like the picture shows on nice sofas instead of the restaurant.
