Overview
When it comes to motor racing experiences, they don’t come much more different than this frantic JCB digger driving adventure. These diggers have been specially modified for racing, complete with tyre bumpers attached to the front! You’ll begin with your instructor giving you a rundown of how to handle these ultimate bumper cars before the heats begin. The group will be split, with everyone competing in two heats. You’ll be racing each other, but more importantly the clock, as you attempt to secure a qualifying time for the final. Those quick enough will then line up for the grand finale, the winner scooping the prize of JCB digger champion as well as a special certificate to commemorate this epic achievement. Whether you win or not, this experience is truly unique and we are sure you will be back again very soon!

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- This voucher is valid for one person
- This experience usually operates on the last Saturday of each month, from March–September
- Bookings must be made by phone at least 3 days in advance of the date you wish to visit (vouchers will not be accepted at the gate if not pre-booked)
- The minimum age for this experience is 17 and all drivers must hold a valid provisional driving licence
- Please discuss any medical restrictions at point of booking
- Please allow for approximately two hours for your whole experience
- Spectators are welcome to attend the event, free of charge
- All dates are subject to availability

Not as good as expected!

I think there were about 30 people taking part but there were only 3 dumper trucks. So the first practice runs took 1.5 hours with me only driving about 3 minutes in all that time.
The heavens opened which was unavoidable, but there was no shelter of any kind, and my family including grand children were soon cold and soaked to the skin.
In the end we reluctantly left before I had chance to drive for a second time.
The organisation in general was quite poor.
I would take the grand children back to experience digger land for themselves, but wouldn’t return or recommend the dumper racing for adults.

This has the potential to be a lot of fun and the staff are very nice. However, they appeared to be quite disorganised and there was quite a lot of waiting around. I wonder if perhaps this should be run with smaller groups perhaps twice a month rather than once a month. You can only go out in groups of 4 at a time maximum, which meant my husband had approximately 15 mins of time in the digger in total. 3 lots of 5 mins. He enjoyed it, but we would not book it again

Venue has several other attractions- small but good organisation and something for young ones and for teenagers and adults. Dumper racing was entertaining and fun- not really racing, more a driving experience through different manoeuvre challenges. Not expensive and good value - plus spectators can enjoy the day for free.

Despite weather in the 30s, we still had a great day. Well organised, well run by enthusiastic staff and so much fun. Had 3 attempts at it and there was a final for the 4 best. Great day out if you like competing or just want to have fun.

The venue is basic unfortunately it was one of the hottest days , no shade as the 4 broken umbrellas for 40 is not adequate , no outlets for water and rude staff on the day and when trying to book venue. Though driving the dumper was fun there is a lot of standing around waiting. It’s not worth the cost of the gift and travelling

Really enjoyed the experience, had 3 goes racing the dumper truck, each time something different was added eg driving backwards around the course or just straight up and down the course as fast as you can.
