You’ll begin by learning how to shoot a bow on a static target, before putting your newfound skills to the test during a fun Sky Bow session. An increasingly popular new outdoor pursuit, Sky Bow involves aiming a bow and arrow at moving targets as they fly through the air. Excellent activity

Initially didn't think that I would really like this but it was great. Logan gave us good instruction and it was great fun, 40 mins target archery and then 20 mins sky bow, 6 in our group. The hour didn't go quick either, well worth it.

This was a good experience, an hour was a good length of time and a fun thing to do with a friend. However, initial instruction was a touch lacking if you'd never picked up a bow before and the sky archery was a little disappointing. There weren't enough bows for the whole group so had to take it in turns but there weren't even enough for half the group, no one really knew whose turn it was so ended up sitting out for a lot of it. A smaller group size or more bows would have been better.

Even though it was very windy, both the archery and sky bow were fantastic, the staff helpful and friendly.

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend, as it’s something he has never done before and something I haven’t done for a long time. We both had a really good time and found it great fun. The only thing I would say it that the guides we had weren’t very involved. They showed you what to do, went through health and safety and left you to it. It would have been nice of them to offer some tips and tricks maybe or a little bit of tuition. Maybe that’s just me speaking from a competitive point of view!

Arrived to a busy venue as it’s a clay shooting ground. No running water to wash hands in toilet.
Taken to archery ground, i am a qualified instructor and the instruction given was very poor. Really just a case of point and shoot. A lot of arrows were missing flights meaning each shot is different. Bows had no arrow rests to prevent arrows falling off. Arrows didn’t clip on the string.
Skybow is just a shoot and hope! Really your just firing arrows in the sky. Very disappointed!

The location for the archery is shared with clay pigeon shooters (but not so close as to be dangerous ??). There was a refreshments van there. Basic shooting and safety instructions were given, sufficient to make it an enjoyable experience. The instructors were friendly and helpful. I would assume you would need your own transport in order to get to there.
