The switch is also backward compatible with USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0/1.1 (480 Mbps, 12 Mbps respectively), so you don't have to worry about your computer or older peripherals not performing. The 2-port USB (Universal Serial Bus) switch can also be connected to a USB (Universal Serial Bus) hub, to expand the number of devices you can share between the two connected systems, or to a USB (Universal Serial Bus) drive enclosure or docking station, for a shared external storage solution.
