The NETRS232485W Wireless Serial over IP Device Server lets you remotely access & manage an industrial serial device over a Wi Fi or wired network, with the added benefit of redundant power inputs to prevent downtime in the event of a power surge or failure. To eliminate the hassle of laying additional Ethernet cable, this wireless device server lets you connect your RS232/422/485 serial device in a location where a wired network connection is unavailable, with support for 802.11 B/G Wi Fi connections & a 10/100 Mbps wired network port for added flexibility. Ideal for industrial environments, the serial to Ethernet device server accepts wide-range 12-48V DC power input via a terminal block or an optional DC jack, enabling you to add redundant power with a secondary adapter (e.g. 12V DC 1.5A Power Adapter SKU: IM12D1500P
- sold separately). This device server supports baud rates up to 230.4 Kbps which provides a smooth connection to your serial devices. The server also offers support for HTTPS, SSH & SSL to ensure secure communication, while integrating remote Telnet configuration & support for IP, HTTP, ICMP, DHCP, TCP & UDP protocols. You can customize the serial device server to suit your application with versatile browser-based or virtual com port software configuration.
