When I think about my iPad, its a device that I use every day, & take everywhere, except when Im using my iPad mini. I use it at home, at work & on the way to both, so I need to be very careful in choosing how I protect its miniature design from the big wide world. I like a case that covers my entire device & offers increased functionality, which I already had for my iPad with the Magna Tuff, so it was an easy design leap to make in shrinking it down for the iPad mini. Simply reducing the size of the case meant that I could retain the stand & magnetic properties that made the case so useful, as well as transpose the protection it offered to my smaller iPad mini. Now I can continue to use the features that Im already comfortable with as well as expect the same level of protection from the hard shell material in case of scratches or bumps, without compromising the size or accessibility of my device.
