Kingstons Hyper X SSD combines the Sand Force controller technology with premium NAND flash, reducing load times while increasing performance & endurance. It provides high-speed SATA Rev 3.0 transfer speeds for larger bandwidth, which power users require for advanced gaming, multitasking & multimedia computing power. Kingstons Hyper X SSD lets users load games & applications faster, increase frames per second (FPS) & quickly transfer & edit large media files. Its cool, silent & requires less power & no additional cooling requirements. When configuring the Hyper X SSD partition, the user can choose between having the maximum available capacity for data storage or giving up a little space to increase performance & endurance. This additional space is called over provisioning on an SSD. The amount of performance & endurance increase depends upon the type of data being stored on the Hyper X SSD. The more data that is MPEG, JPG, ZIP or ARC file types, the greater the benefit for this increased over provisioning. Hyper X SSD uses an advanced wear leveling technology that distributes writes evenly across all the flash blocks in the SSD to maximize overall drive endurance. in addition, wear leveling ensures that the individual flash memory blocks are consumed at a very balanced rate, not to exceed a 2-percent difference between the most often written blocks & least written. This enables the Hyper X SSD to provide the longest possible life for the user while maintaining optimal performance.
- Sequential reads 6 Gb/s -- 555MB/s
- Sequential writes 6 Gb/s -- 510MB/s

Kingston’s KC1000 solid-state drive is a high-performance PCIe NVMe™ solution that is over 2x faster than SATA-based SSDs & 40x faster than a 7200RPM hard-disk drive*. Using a PCIe Gen 3.0 x 4 interface & an 8-channel Phison PS5007-E7 controller, this drive features 4 cores & 2x the DRAM to help power users blaze through even the toughest projects with high-speed data transfers of up to 2700MB/s*. KC1000 uses native OS drivers & is NVMe 1.2 compliant which allows users to take full advantage of the high throughput, IOPS & low latency that is available to systems that support NVMe. This protocol was designed specifically to support Flash-based storage versus SATA, which was developed for traditional spinning disks. It removes performance bottlenecks & provides the system with instant access to the device once the SSD is installed. KC1000 is easily installed in either a standard M.2 or PCI Express socket using the M.2 2280 or the half-height, half-length add-in card for greater design-in flexibility when used by system builders. There is a range of capacities available from 240GB to 960GB**, & the KC1000 is backed by a limited five-year warranty*** & legendary Kingston support. • High-performance, next-generation PCIe NVMe SSD • NVMe — Designed for SSDs, not legacy storage products • Form factor choices to fit a wide range of systems * Based on “out-of-box performance” using a SATA Rev. 3.0/ PCIe 3.0 motherboard. Speed may vary due to host hardware, software & usage. IOMETER random 4K random read/write is based on an 8GB partition. ** Some of the listed capacity on a Flash storage device is used for formatting & other functions & is thus not available for data storage.
