This wonderfully rustic handmade dish started life as a sheet of copper, I sawed the heart shape, stamped to the moon & back along the edge & riveted a handmade silver heart then hammered the heart into a gentle bowl shape. The heart had to be annealed many times to make sure the copper stretched rather than folded into the bowl shape & this use of the torch gave the heart it's soft patina which I kept by polishing it to the soft sheen you can see here. Perfect gift for holding rings & jewellery
