TinDrum

The TinDrum grew out of a desire to utilise experience with simple sheet metal forming and the wish to express this process in an original piece. The body of the unit is composed of three identical sections and the repeated folded pattern creates a bold, yet slender, form which echoes the industrial beginnings of the process. The piece is an excellent example of how an industrial process can be translated in to something seemingly delicate and aesthetically pleasing. At 6' tall the striking lighting piece is capable of commanding large spaces and yet the laser cut and precisely formed power coated steel components allow the design to be light and durable. Custom colours available on request Material: Powder coated laser cut precision folded steel, Frosted acrylic Dimensions: H-1800mm
