We all love the Ramones, & this print distils our favorite album by them ' Rocket To Russia', into a ultra cool piece of typography. Using the same typeface the band used for their own artwork this letterpress print takes the album's lyrics & distills them into a bold & beautiful object that exudes style. This design is strictly limited to an edition of 200 & each print is unique, being individually number stamped. The print is A3 in size (approx. 17x 12) & is printed using a vintage Heidelberg Letterpress onto 100% recycled 270gsm board. The Dodo was a clumsy flightless bird who lived on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. Lewis Carroll reputedly used the Dodo in the Natural History museum in Oxford for the character of the Dodo in Alice's Adventure in Wonderl&. The Dodo displayed there is on of the few rare surviving specimens anywhere in the world. I love the museum & this little trinket is an idea I had whilst perusing the exhibits there recently. It is one of my most favourite places to spend an afternoon with my sketchbook. This is a locket made with a picture of a pink Dodo that is exclusive to Hoolala.
