The French Country Console Table is a cornerstone of the French Country collection. I must confess to a time when I did not fully understand the concept or necessity for a console table. I have however since seen the light after my better half purchased one for our home a number of years ago & now they are one of my favourite pieces & invariably Orchard bestsellers. A console table can complete a space, particularly a hallway or passageway through a home. A place to display flowers or a photograph, a treasured memento or an interesting artefact. It breaks up the space, & introduces depth without taking up a lot of space. This striking French Country Hall Mirror is one of the most interesting mirrors we have brought into stock recently. Large & enigmatic in nature, the mirror has a number of flourishes & details to set it apart. The Large Combi is the Daddy from our collection of French Country Storage Chests. Offering a wealth of storage space in a variety of different ways. Three deep drawers offer a home to items you want tucked away, four large baskets are available for larger bits & pieces that perhaps need to be grabbed at regularly & finally four open shelves provide yet more storage solutions. A versatile piece that like much of the collection lends itself to a number of settings around the home. Personally, I feel this piece works best in a kitchen, the baskets being used for fruit & veg, the open shelving for tins & jars, perhaps even wine & the drawers, well you just can't have enough drawers in a kitchen, can you?
