This set of four white bone china mugs feature four of my hand drawn owl heads. The decorations are based on the wildlife that is found near my home in Staffordshire. The local woodland is a constant source of inspiration for my work. I used pen & ink to create the designs. These drawings were scanned & computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made into transfers. Each mug features a hand placed transfer & has been fired at 850 degrees & is 100% dishwasher proof. They have then been clear varnished front & back to bring out the grain in the wood & to preserve the bark around the edge but more importantly to keep each one protected year after year.
