Distinctive & graphic. Contemporary yet decorative & feminine. Above all, finely crafted with a fine sensitivity to colour choice. The overall flavour of decorative & feminine Vs contemporary & graphic is brought about by the combination of CAD techniques & traditional craftsmanship. The graphic outlines & decorative patterns are created using Illustrator & are then etched either partially or fully from sheet silver which gives a clean cut look. The bottom petal layer has been designed so that each alternating petal has a different decorative etched pattern which has been cold enameled in dark violet. The adjacent plain petals are cold enameled in a lighter violet to create a certain degree of contrast. A top satinised layer then nicely frames the petal designs & is topped off with a shiny flower & violet spinel set stone. A lovely addition to any jewellery collection measuring 5cm. It comes hallmarked with a Barbara Macleod Jewellery box

These pretty, beautifully hand crafted decorative earrings are inspired by the form of antique tear drop earrings, but conceived and executed with a contemporary twist. A domed tear drop shape has been fly pressed from silver with a decorative scroll etched pattern, which is then soldered on to a flat frilly tear drop shape. This has been attached to a flower stud, which has a lovely London blue topaz stone and rub oversetting. The whole earring has been enameled with a lovely shade of blue cold enamel.
