A couple of years ago I fell in love with cobalt oxide. The pigment is extremely strong & needs a lot of exercise & fine tuning to be able to play with it. Working with cobalt oxide reminds me of painting with watercolours on rough & absorbing watercolour paper. When raw, the oxide looks like a powdery charcoal. This silver heart pendant necklace has a beautiful silver heart, handmade using PMC (precious metal clay, 99% silver) that is attached to a handmade sterling silver chain, hand forged from hammered links.
