Our Napoleon Leather chandelier is a hand made item, constructed from the finest vegetable tanned leather, cut, embossed & sewn by hand in our London workshops. The chandelier uses a luscious biscuit leather, more usually seen in equestrian accessories of the Household Cavalry with h&-stitched seams. O’ Hare & D’ Jafer finish the reverse side of the leather with a gold leaf, providing you with a unique interior to the piece. Each leather chandelier is hand cut from vegetable tanned leather, hand embossed & stitched with a 3mm leather thong stitch. The piece is hung with 125 individual embossed leather facets. When illuminated, this majestic chandelier creates wonderful ambience with reflected patterns on the walls of the space within which it is hung. The inspiration for the leather chandeliers came from a visit to Napoleon’s apartment in the Palais du Louvre Paris, whilst O’ Hare & D’ Jafer were working on an interior project for a French Couturier. ...

Napoleon III Table

A concrete tassel decorated with sumptuous trimmings from the merciers and passementiers of Paris. These mini-sculptures, each individually cast by hand, are concrete casts of real silk tassels with all the intricate detail of the original. The raw quality of the monochrome concrete is an intriguing contrast to the luxurious coloured cords and delicate trimmings. We were given this fabulous Napoleon III table by a good friend and avid antiques collector in Paris. Finished in matte and lacquered black paints and topped with a gorgeous concrete tassel which is wound with a vintage black silk cord which is also wound around the leg of the table and finished with a tassel topped with a beautiful circle of cream vintage lace. There is much more to this table that meets the eye as the table
top can be used as a blackboard. No one will miss reading your messages if this piece is placed near your front door. Measurements: 77cms High x 63cms Wide x 37cms Deep
