This exclusive British Library e-reader & mini tablet case is a replica of a 1905 edition of this collection of Sherlock Holmes stories. The 12 tales were originally published from 1891 – 92 in the Strand magazine, & then in book form in 1892. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s great detective & his side-kick Dr. Watson have been immensely popular ever since, both in print & on the screen, although the stories were banned in the USSR for a brief period from 1929.
Designed to protect e Readers & mini-tablets & preserve the craft of bookbinding, our Classic Collection from the British Library gives your digital device the timeless look of a traditional book. All of our covers are exact replicas of the original book in the British Library, including their shelf referencing numbers.
