Meteorite Exhibit

This heaven sent meteorite was found in an area of the same name, in Argentina, about 500 miles north-northwest of Buenos Aires. The name “ Campo del Cielo” means “field of the sky/heaven” & was named by Spanish explorers during the conquest of South America. Local Indians had explained how the numerous meteorites found in this region had “fallen from the sky”. Included in Dagmar Holub’s collection, this wonderful & fascinating device displays a genuine meteorite; a shooting star that has fallen to earth. Elio Scintu was born in Milan in 1977. His work starts in the comics’ world; thanks to the independent publisher Shock Studio experience, he works as designer and scriptwriter. Between 1999 and 2004 he produces shorts in animation and stop motions collaborating with Sun Wu Kung video group. Ten years ago he founds “TATIANATOI” an experimental ludic products enterprise that relies on the experience made in the image and communication world. In 2007 he moves to Amsterdam and opens the “GALERIE KNAP” an exhibition where to develop years of collaborations with artists, musicians, artisans and various kind people.
