The Library Chair is a multifunctional piece of furniture designed as an elegant space-saving solution for the modern living space. An occasional chair in its resting state, by releasing the magnetic catch & rotating the back it transforms into a useful step ladder. In chair form the curved back-rest & well proportioned seat give comfort, whilst the method of construction gives the ladder strength & stability. The cut-outs add detail & reduce weight, making it a light-weight & portable piece of furniture. Made from CNC-machined & hand finished birch plywood, with a clear lacquer to give a natural finish.
