The inspiration behind the design was when Sarah stumbled upon the ferns growing at the waters edge of a lake at Scotney Castle in Kent. She was struck by the vibrant greens against the still millpond. I love the texture and curls of the fern leaf or bracken and evokes memories of running wild in the woods in Staffordshire as a young child.
