There are 10 designs in the series each featuring a different foil blocked image of a British bird. Each card is blank inside for your own message & has been printed in the UK on stock that is 100% recycled (post industrial fibres). Foil Blocking is a dry printing process in which the image is transferred to the surface by a combination of heat & pressure. The colour applied is literally a foil & not a wet ink. This illustration is from Crumpetty Tree's ' Fairytale' range & is signed by the artist. Any of these delightful prints would look lovely in a child's bedroom or add a splash of colour to your home. Each quirky illustration is a new take on some fantastic old tales. Choose from four different illustrations: ' Goldilocks', ' Princess & the Pea', ' Red Riding Hood' & ' Princess & the Frog' They are printed on archival velvet fine art paper. The surface has a textured effect & the colours of the prints are lovely & vibrant. The grey card used to back the prints is a recycled board made from 100% consumer waste, as green as it gets! The prints are then placed in biodegradable bags to protect them. Made from corn starch (annually renewable) these are fully biodegradable & compostable, breaking down to CO2 & H2O.
