Flo - Walking Aid
The Flo standing and walking aid is a revolutionary innovation and an alternative independent living tool for transfer and mobility. Multifunctional, super strong, lightweight and elegant, Flo wraps around the lower leg, locking it in position and acts as a lever employing the users upper body strength to assist with dignified and unassisted elevation from seated to standing. Available in 6 colours, the package includes an elegant and replaceable foot bung for grip with wear indicator, designed exclusively for the Flo product, and a wrist strap. Can be used on either leg. Flo standing and walking aid is constructed using a combination of composite materials and advanced processes designed to create the required strength and lightweight performance demanded from the unique functionality. Flo is bladder moulded in one piece for consistent torsional strength using aluminium coated composite twill backed with 386g psm of 12k carbon. Flo is made in the same way as professional road bikes and parts of F1 cars so you can be sure of durability! Using in-house secrets our supplier has developed a technique to remove the internal manufacturing parts which are needed
in creation which results in a unique lightweight product of just 300g. The semi translucent metallic surface finish is then applied in one of 6 colourways (black, silver, gold, blue, orange and pink). This innovative product supports the vertical transfer from seating to standing for users up to 25 stone. Flo can then be used as a walking stick to support mobility.
