This elegant white bone china side plate is the perfect size for breakfast or dessert & features my hand drawn elusive badger. It is part of the new 2012 ' Butterflies' range, please feel free to mix & match your plates to create your own collection. There is also a set of four available in the shop. The decoration is based on the wildlife that is found near my home in Staffordshire. The local woodland is a constant source of inspiration for my work. I used pen & ink to create the designs. These drawings were scanned & computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made into transfers. Each plate features a hand placed transfer & has been fired for three hours at 200 degrees, I recommend washing the mug by hand in hot soapy water avoiding the use of abrasive materials.
