Scandinavian homeware brand Menu have teamed up with the world renowned design firm Design by US to bring you this unique range of exotic crockery. Raw Diamond cups are a combination of a faceted matt surface on the exterior & a contrasting sparkling glaze on the interior. The rough exterior is symbolic of raw uncut diamonds & the interior is home to a smooth colourful surface inspired by floral tattoos, rococco patterns & japanese flower motives. Architect Rasmus Larsson is Creative Director & founder of Design by Us & he describes his inspiration for Raw Diamonds by US: “ We wanted to create a totally new look for a classic set of crockery: Vase, cups, platter & bowl – with a design DNA that would not be instantly readable.” “ We have struggled with the uncut element, which is emphasized by the matte surface.
