The Dauphin Leather Chandelier is hand cut from vegetable tanned leather, hand embossed then stitched using a 3 mm leather thong stitch. The piece is hung with 125 individual embossed leather facets. When illuminated, this majestic chandelier creates wonderful ambience with reflected patterns on the walls of the space within which it is hung. O’ Hare & D’ Jafer hand finish the reverse side of the leather with gold leaf, providing you with a unique interior to the piece This uniquely dramatic chandelier was inspired by the huge crystal chandeliers featured in Napoleons apartment in the Palais du Louvre Paris. The internal illumination is created via a six arm light frame of patinated metal, the bulbs are Philips softone energy saver, 290 lumin, 8 watt energy, 35 watt light is supplied, as we believe this is the optimum illumination for the Dauphin leather chandelier, it is capable of taking up to 15 watt energy, 75 watt light, in the appropriate softone energy saver golf ball.
