Kente takes its name from fabric made of interwoven cloth strips and is native to the Akan ethnic group of South Ghana. Kente cloth is identified by its dazzling, multicolored patterns of bright colors, geometric shapes, and bold designs.
∆bstr∆ctic∆ is rooted in African textile geometries; broken up, reassembled and abstracted from a cubist perspective while maintaining their striking simplicity: transforming the most common geometries into uncommon ones.
This limited edition print is printed on archival Giclée 255gsm fine art paper made from 100% cotton. This high quality paper is acid free and museum quality with a natural white textured watercolour feel.
