I was inspired by a thought which when translated would sound like this: “ Only lovers & poets know the secret how to trust the wind with Your emotions, & get on with Your life” (originally: “ Solo gli amanti e i poeti conoscono il segreto per affidare al vento le loro emozioni affinché sopravvivano alla loro vita”). For me it means inner balance & the knowledge that whatever comes will be good for me. This wallpaper is created with a very much positive emotion. & I do enjoy the fact that the repetition of the pattern creates new patterns in turn. From afar it looks as if a decorative surface. First, the motives appear on an edge of a notebook, drawn by pencil. Some of these motives stay that way forever, while others keep reappearing over & over again & reminding about themselves.
