One of the great things about prints on antique dictionary pages is not only the beauty & making for an interesting read but it also upcycles books giving them new life. In the spirit of recycling we use dictionary pages for our prints that have character flaws with some spotting & occasional corner bending. As part of my work as a graphic designer I use, & love, type a lot so I enjoy being able to bring that into my craft & illustration work. I hand render all the text in pencil which is then blocked in using India Ink onto bright white board for scanning. The print is digitally coloured in professional illustration software & digitally printed onto heavy card stock. The handwritten text & uncoated card give this print a wonderful feel & each one comes signed by me.
