Inlove with photography he start his colection while he wa very young, a collection of pictures that are nowadays impossible to find. Journalist at Combat, then at Parisien Libéré, he is also a writer and recieves in 1968 the Henri Malherbe award. Friends with Maurrois, de Aaron, Malraux and many other writers of his generation he was able to constitue a collection of unique pictures that represents today precious historical testimony.
