XxLady2 With Roses Canvas

Acyrlic on canvas with paper collage. I began painting this in 2007 whilst I sat in my temporary gallery space exhibiting my first collection 'xxLady' in London. I finished the painting when I returned to my studio and the painting never saw the light of day again until I opened this Big Cartel shop. I'd love to give this painting a home. It has a darker mood to the other paintings in this series. The painting of the woman creeps out and into the drawing and collaged roses. This also has the bird/boob detail that appeared in some of the xxLady paintings, a detail that suggests a slightly erotic tone without showing you too much!
