Here you have the opportunity to own something quite unique. I have reupholstered 4 1950s kitchen diner style chairs, using traditional wax printed African fabric, each one in a different colour scheme. The standard of upholstery is second to none, neat & tawt, with contrasting coloured piping on the back rest of each chair. I think that vintage/retro furniture works really well with African design & these chairs look extremely stylish. I've left the metal frame of the chairs untreated, there is some rust & some worn off paint, but I think this is part of its charm, & I decided that to paint the frame would not improve the overall look. I'm a designer upholsterer based in Leeds, with 12 years experience in upholstery. These chairs are totally unique, & would add real impact to your kitchen or dining room. ...
