The SLX Epoxy Construction process combines conventional wisdom with the latest surfboard construction methods. Stringered EPS blanks, which ensure a stiff & familiar flex pattern, are precision shaped & glassed with Epoxy resin & fibreglass. The use of EPS in the core creates a significant reduction in weight, allowing heavier gauge cloth in the lamination process. The result is a surfboard with all the positive flex characteristics of a standard PU board, with far greater strength & therefore durability.
