The Ally is from the same stable as the multi award winning Skate Banana and looking at it you can see why, the Ally shares the Skate Banana's Banana Traction (BTX) profile giving it the same buttery catch-free feel, insane popability & unique edge hold as its illustrious contemporary, which led to the Ally winning a few gongs of its own last year! One of these magical creations was the Roxy Ally snowboard, it won award after award for bringing the tantalising within reach of the worthy and was lauded far and wide. The Roxy Ally features the BTX, or Banana-Traction, profile that marries a reverse camber (banana) shape to Mervin’s patented Magne-Traction edge profile to deliver incredible float in the deeps with the sort of edge hold most boards can only dream about. The Ally also features a light alloy core that has enough snap about it
to get radical but is super lightweight increasing amplitude and airtime. Roxy have developed the Ally as a directional twin and has been designed for freestylers looking to take their tricks into the backcountry as well as freeriders who want to eliminate back leg burn forever.
