- 2012 The Machete from Ride is not some horror flick, it won't give you nightmares; it just likes to slash around wherever you take it, making it a super fun board to ride. The Machete comes with Ride's Lowrize profile, flat between the bindings with a gentle rocker section outside of the binding inserts, which gives the board its playful feel. The board gets its snap from the Pop Rods & Carbon Array 3 stringers all tempered with the smoothness you get from the Slimewalls 85A, giving the board a fluid feel with plenty of pop when you need it. Ride has made the Machete as a freestyle board but it has a nice mellow flex & easy to ride shape that will bring a smile to your face wherever you choose to take it. The Machete is for riders who bounce around from place to place always looking for the next lip, hip or roller to get fresh with.
