- 2012 Somewhere in the USA, close to the Canadian border there is a little factory that makes snowboards. They have come to prominence in the last few years after re-inventing reverse camber profiles & extolling the virtues of the humble banana as a snowboarding maxim. They have won widespread acclaim for their endeavours both in the recreational circles & among the pros with their team roster now reading like a who's who in snowboarding with Jamie Lynn, Jesse Burtner, Mark Landvik & Jakob Wilhelmson all amongst their ranks. The cherry on that particular cake is widely regarded to be T (ravis). Rice, the eponymous hero of this particular snow stick famed for his parts with the Absinthe crew and latterly his own movies ' That's It That's All' & most recently ' The Art of Flight'. Anyone who has seen any of his movie parts, or better still seen him rip up close, will tell you that he is full on all the time so it stands to reason that he'll need something pretty special under his bindings to cope! The T. Rice Pro has been part of the Lib Tech stable for a few years now & features the C2BTX profile, camber under the feet, reverse camber through the rest of the board & Lib Tech's magne-traction edges, which delivers speed, power & control on any terrain. The T. Rice Pro is for advanced riders who treat the whole mountain as their playground, the shorter lengths feature a blunted nose for reduced spin weight while the longer lengths have a pointy nose for better balance & float in the deeps. This is a serious snowboard for people that ride on the redline all the time & need something that can keep up! - 2012 Now, you will probably remember that a few years ago Lib Tech revolutionised snowboarding with their re-invention of reverse camber when Banana technology first appeared in the multi award winning Skate Banana. Well, the good people at Lib Tech don't like to rest on their accumulated laurels & have honed their profile altering skills to provide us with all manner of shapes & cambers to aid us in our quest for the perfect riding experience in 2012! The TRS or Total Ripper Series features the same camber profile as Travis Rice uses in his pro model, C2BTX, which is designed to give you lightening response through the camber sections under the bindings while the rest of the board is reverse cambered to give you maximum float & freestyle potential in any conditions. The C2BTX profile also features Lib Tech's magne-traction sidecut which looks weird & serrated but actually gives the rider 7 contact points along the edge of the board for enhanced hold in icy conditions & riding pipe. As the name suggests the TRS is for advanced freestylers who want to combine their park skills & love of pow to rip up the back country as Jakob Wilhelmson, Sammy Luebke, Eric Jackson & Martin Cernik can all attest to having designed & tested this board from its inception to the finished article you see before you here. Made for the steeps & deeps of Jackson Hole, Whistler & Mt. Baker the TRS has ripped up some of the most famous lines in the snowboarding world, now its up to you to put it through its paces! Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro Horse Power Snowboard 153 - 2013

Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro Snowboard 164.5 - 2013 Now we don't want to come across all righteous here, our accumulated sins would take a lifetime to repent and we don't have time. Anyway, suffice to say that the global warming issue is perhaps more pertinent to snowboarders than anyone else outside Holland and many in the industry are concerned enough to make it a priority. Lib Tech are one such brand and they have put their heads together with Travis Rice to create a fibreglass free incarnation of his X-Games slaying pro-model. The Horsepower construction not only makes you feel all warm and environmental as you strap in, the materials used are lighter than are used in the T.Rice Pro so the Horsepower feels slightly lighter and more poppy than its namesake and has better float when you
get into the deep stuff. Make no mistake though, the Horsepower has Travis' name on it so it's born to slay the big lines and has been designed for riders who want a fast, stable platform for ripping around from peak to park and into the backcountry. Not content with making the T.Rice Pro Horsepower one of the 'greenest' snowboards in the business Lib Tech and Travis wanted to sprinkle some magic dust just to make sure we knew it was special, the magic dust landed on the topsheet making it sparkle while some slipped into the sidewalls and now they glow in the dark, now if you're stuck for a Halloween costume you can go as a snowboard. C2BTX: C2 Power Banana/Camber Combo Tech Magne-Traction INSERTS: 4X4 TOPSHEET: Horse Power Construction Bio Beans CORE: Columbian Gold SIDEWALLS:
