Burton Hostile Snowboard Jacket
- Bombay
- 2013
Don’t be put of by the name, the Hostile jacket won’t wage war upon you but it will step up to the plate when the conditions turn nasty & you need protection. The Hostile jacket has clean lines similar to Burton’s flagship AK range but comes with a slightly roomier Mid Fit for those that like to ride loose & baggy. The Hostile jacket is born from fully taped Dryride Durashell 2 layer ripstop fabric stuffed with 200g of 3M Thinsulate Platinum insulation in the body with a further 100g in the arms & hood to keep you toasty whatever Mother nature throws your way while the removable waist gaiter, dropped hood construction, articulated arms, hem cinch & adjustable cuff closure keep you comfortable too. As you would expect from a Burton jacket the pockets are many & varied to house everything from goggles to media as well as having micro fleece lined pockets for warming your hands, which is nice. The Hostile jacket has been designed to be at home in an urban environment too, hence the removable waist gaiter, so you can rock it down to the shops just as easily as maching down the pistes, handy when the British winter is as hostile as ours!
